Before you begin
Turn on Remote Access on your computer and wait for it to show Online, then open Connection info to get your Host URL, account and password. See How to Enable Remote Access if you haven't done this yet.
Connection details are tied to the signed-in library owner, and the host computer must stay online for a player app to reach it.
What Remote Access gives you
Sonikr Media Hub doesn't have its own mobile app yet. Remote Access works like your own private cloud service instead — once it's online, a small set of free, well-reviewed apps can connect straight to it, so you can stream your library on your phone without uploading anything to anyone else's server.
Browse supported apps
Not every music app will work — only ones built to connect to a private library like Sonikr's. Browse a filtered list of free apps for Android and iOS that are compatible with Remote Access, then install one from the App Store or Google Play.

Open the app and enter the Host URL, account and password from Sonikr's Connection info panel. Most apps ask for these as a server address, username and password during setup.
Use the connection password shown by Sonikr, not your main Sonikr account password, unless the product explicitly instructs you to.
Troubleshooting
The app can't connect
Confirm Remote Access shows Online on the host computer, recheck the Host URL, account and password, and make sure the host stays connected to the internet.
Which apps are actually supported?
Check the supported apps list first — it's kept up to date and is the fastest way to confirm whether a specific app will work with Sonikr before you install it.
Do I need an account in the app itself?
No. You sign in with your Sonikr Host URL, account and password directly inside the app — no separate account with the app is required.
